Crawler Group Launches Web Security Guard, a New Internet Security Product

New website safety assessment application enables users to instantly identify threat levels of websites in search results

Boca Raton, FL, April 4, 2007 - Crawler Group, provider of Crawler free software, has introduced a new Internet security product, Web Security Guard, for users who surf or search on the Internet using the Crawler Toolbar or any major search engine. In a continuing effort to provide users with the best Internet experience available, Web Security Guard

• reviews website content, archives reports, displays website threat levels to users and provides website user reviews;
• helps prevent users from entering websites having known or reported security problems, including viruses, spyware, spam, identity theft or other harmful conditions; and
• uses a proprietary system to classify websites ranging from safe to dangerous, drawing upon a continually expanding database of website ratings.
