Enhanced Spyware Terminator Version 1.5 Released
July 17, 2006: Thanks to great suggestions from our users on how to improve Spyware Terminator and their valued help with testing the beta version, we are delighted to announce that we have just released Spyware Terminator Version 1.5 which includes many useful features and makes the application available in more languages.

Protection against unknown threats- Spyware Terminator HIPS protects your computer from running unknown applications that can infiltrate your system through security holes within the system or through any used application. Learn more about the HIPS feature...
Predefined profiles in the Real-time Shield - You don't have to worry about making mistakes with Spyware Terminator alerts, just choose from predefined Real-Time Shields profiles depending on how experienced a user you are, and Spyware Terminator will decide about actions you might not be sure of. You may select a profile that suits you the best when installing Spyware Terminator, or later by clicking on the "Restore from Profile" button within the Settings of Real-Time Shield.
- Significant reduction of update files size - The new version of Spyware Terminator does not download the entire database, but checks only for missing data.
- Faster Full Scan - Full Scan has been optimized which saves you time when scanning for spyware on your computer.
- Opportunity to set proxy - If you are using a proxy, you need to set Spyware Terminator access in order to download and install updates. This improvement alleviates problems with updates download that proxy users used to experience in the past.
- Ability to change period for checking new updates - The period for checking new updates may be changed in Settings from 1 - 24 hours.
- New language versions - Spyware Terminator is now available in Spanish, Hungarian, Portuguese and Serbian.
- Ability to update spyware database only - Now you can update only the spyware database without the need to update the entire application.
