Before setting up the POP3 access you first need to activate POP3 in your Crawler account.

After you activate POP3 & SMTP access in your Crawler Group account, you can easily setup your mail client by following the instructions below:

To configure The Bat! to send and receive your Crawler Group mail, follow these steps:

1. Open The Bat! Email client, and select the "New..." option from the "Account" menu.
   
   
   
   
2. Enter your name on the Crawler Group Account in the "Account name:" field, e.g., John - Crawler, and click on the "Next" button.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter your full name in the "Your Name:" field. Enter your full Crawler Group email address (username@crawler.com) in the "Email Address:" field, enter your Organization Name, and click on the "Next" button.
   
   
   
   
4. Select POP3 as the type of incoming server you are using. Enter my.crawler.com in the "Incoming mail server address:" field and in the "SMTP server address:" field. Select the "My SMTP server requires authentication..." checkbox and click on the "Next" button.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter your full Crawler Group email address in the "Username:" field, then enter your password and click on the "Next" button.
   
   
   
   
6. Select the method that you use to connect to the Internet and click on the "Next" button.
   
   
   
   
7. Select the "Yes" option and click on the "Finish" button.
   
   

It is recommended to use the secured port 465 to send your emails. To change the default SMTP port, click on the "Account" menu and select the "Properties" option.

Then select the "Transport" tab and enter the 465 number into the "Port" column. Make sure that secure connection (SSL) is enabled.
